Apr - 1985

Humble Beginnings

1985 marked the start of Pragati Systems® with its first manufacturing unit. Founded by a Mechanical Engineer, the focus was on precision drafting instruments. This phase laid the foundation for our engineering-driven manufacturing culture.

Jun - 1995

National Reach

A structured dealer and distributor network was built across India. Through focused channel development, the brand expanded city by city. Today, Pragati Systems® operates with 50+ dealers nationwide.

Apr - 2005

Embracing Modernisation

Early adoption of internet and software systems transformed operations. An indigenous ERP was developed for accounting, production, and sales. Product design transitioned to advanced CAD tools like SOLIDWORKS.

Dec - 2018

E-Commerce Evolution

Pragati Systems® entered the B2C e-commerce space with office supplies. The brand became a top performer on Amazon.in with 15,000+ 5-star reviews. We are now registered vendors for AmazonBasics and Solimo.

Jun- 2022

Furniture Expansion

Manufacturing capabilities expanded into Office & School Furniture. Leveraging existing expertise, customized solutions were rapidly delivered. 25+ mid-large projects were executed within the first 18 months.

We follow a well-defined and quality-focused process to design, manufacture, and deliver reliable furniture solutions with precision, durability, and timely execution.

1. Requirement Analysis

We collaborate closely with clients, architects, interior designers, and space planners to understand spatial constraints, usage patterns, and aesthetic preferences. Based on these inputs, we finalize layouts, specifications, and functional requirements that align with the project’s objectives.

2. Product Engineering

Using advanced CAD, CAE, and 3D design tools, approved layouts are transformed into accurate 3D models. Special emphasis is placed on ergonomics, structural strength, and ease of installation to ensure long-term performance and user comfort.

3. Material Selection

Materials are selected strictly as per client specifications and intended usage. At Pragati Systems, we adhere to relevant IS standards for all inputs—ranging from engineered wood and CRCA steel to plastics, finishes, and certified hardware—to ensure durability and safety.

4. Manufacturing

Once designs are finalized, 3D models are converted into precision-built furniture at our modern manufacturing facility. CNC metal cutting and bending, CNC wood machining, drilling and edge banding, laser welding, and a fully in-house powder coating setup ensure consistency, accuracy, and superior finishes.

5. Quality Inspection

Every product undergoes multi-level quality checks, including dimensional accuracy, finish consistency, alignment verification, and load testing. This rigorous QC process ensures that only fully compliant and defect-free products are approved for dispatch.

6. Packing & Dispatch

Finished products are securely packed using export-grade materials to prevent transit damage. Each consignment is labeled, documented, and dispatched through reliable logistics partners to ensure safe and on-time delivery across India and beyond.

Over the years, we have evolved from office and presentation supplies into a strong furniture-focused organization, designing and manufacturing products that support learning, productivity, and modern workspaces.Founded in 1985 in Indore by Mr. Manoj Jain, a technocrat by knowledge and a perfectionist by nature, Pragati Systems® was built on strong values, disciplined processes, and a standardized work culture. These principles continue to guide us as we expand and innovate.

With decades of experience in educational and institutional solutions, we entered the office furniture segment in June 2023, bringing our engineering expertise, manufacturing strength, and quality-driven approach into modern office furniture manufacturing. Today, we design and produce reliable office and school furniture that combines durability, functionality, and clean design. Pragati Systems® is backed by a team of over 175 skilled professionals, operating across three manufacturing units, offering 150+ product variants, supported by a strong dealer network across India and trusted by millions of customers through both online and offline channels.

Our manufacturing facility spans over 100,000 sq. ft. and is fully equipped for metal, wood, and plastic processing. It includes advanced CNC panel cutting, metal cutting, edge banding, routing, gluing and pressing lines, sheet and coil processing, cold and hot presses, and complete fabrication capabilities such as bending, punching, drilling, welding, turning, and milling. An in-house epoxy powder coating plant ensures long-lasting finishes. We also operate a dedicated plastic moulding unit with CNC injection moulding machines and in-house die development, enabling us to manufacture high-precision accessories and components. Our woodworking unit processes both hard and soft woods using modern machines to deliver finished furniture parts with consistent quality.
